CITY RENEWAL PROJECT

The Full Story

The City Renewal Project was launched in 2023 by the Christian Leaders and Ministers Network of Valdosta at the prompting of the Valdosta city mayor. He said, "I know you do missions around the world, but what about churches doing a mission trip in Valdosta?” He shared about Valdosta homeowners who had repairs that needed to be done to their houses, but could not physically do the work themselves, and did not qualify for government funded housing projects.

In response to this need, 4 local churches came together to work on 11 Valdosta homes. We met the practical needs of the homeowners, we built relationships with the homeowners, we ate meals together, and we prayed together. It was an overwhelming success. 

But there are many more homeowners in our community that are still in desperate need of help. We would love to partner with your church or organization to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our 2024 project.
