National Day of Prayer 2024

 

The greater Valdosta area, our nation, and our world desperately need the unified prayers of the body of Christ. We have an incredible opportunity as a community to gather again this year with other believers for this year’s Community National Day of Prayer Event on Thursday, May 2nd. We are blessed to have four senior pastors who desire to gather with the community in unified prayer and will be hosting events this year. 

 

• Pastor Anthony McPhail will have a special Wednesday evening prayer service at First Methodist Church of Valdosta (109 W Valley St.) at 6:30 PM on May 1.

   

• Pastor Wayne Robertson will host one of the prayer events in the Worship Center of Morningside Baptist Church at 12:00 NOON (425 Connell Road)  

   

• Pastor Johnnie Quarterman will host another event at North Valdosta Church of God at 6 PM (3492 Mt Zion Church Rd)

   

• Pastor Bishop Henry Williams and Pastor Gwendolyn Williams will host a prayer and praise program at Word of Oasis Church at 7 PM (4034 Inner Perimeter Rd)

 

We urge you to start spreading the word about these opportunities to your church or organization. Let's join hands and hearts in prayer at one or all of these National Day of Prayer Events. Reach out to your prayer team, friends, and congregation to be a part of this collective effort. We eagerly anticipate the impact these events will have in our community, our nation, and our world!
